Got exceptionally clean room with views over the valley as well as comfortable bed - always come in handy. I greatly enjoyed the location that was very central and next to medieval Spello and Assisi : and shops, restaurants and main piazza. It also was to a good local restaurant.

Nice little hotel, lovely breakfast. Breakfast with cheese and homemade cakes and the expected yogurt. Stunning and marvellous location for Spello, not far from a good local restaurant as well as the central square. Also, in the historical centre of old Spello.

We had the most delightful stay at this charming hotel in Spello. The breathtaking views from our room were mesmerizing, leaving us in awe. The room itself was spacious, clean, and quiet, allowing us to have the best night's sleep of our holiday. The traditional furnishings added a touch of elegance to the ambiance. The breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the valley was a perfect start to our day. The attention to hygiene and cleanliness was impeccable, making us feel safe throughout our stay. The hotel's location in the old town was superb, and the warm and welcoming family who run the hotel made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Albergo Il Cacciatore and would definitely return if I am in the area again.

This hotel is wonderfully located in the heart of the old quarter of Spello. The proprietor is very helpful, the hotel clean and attractive. Best of all is the hotel's terraced restaurant, which presents a panoramic view of the valley below--it was perhaps the most spectacular setting for a restaurant that we enjoyed during our three-week tour of Italy. The food was quite good as well, and the service excellent. We very much enjoyed our brief stay at this hotel in a city whose considerable charms came as a complete surprise.
It's not a criticism of the hotel, but I just think that it would be helpful for guests arriving by car to know that the streets leading to the hotel are rather narrow and steep, and that you might want to screw up your courage before negotiating the old city.

We had a wonderful time during our Thanksgiving vacation at this charming and traditional Italian hotel. The complimentary breakfast served on the terrace with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside was a perfect way to start the day. The hotel's location, though a bit hard to find, offered easy parking and a peaceful retreat from the bustle of nearby towns. Our spacious and quiet room provided the best night's sleep of our entire trip.
The roads to the hotel were difficult to navigate, especially since we were unfamiliar with the area. the hotel's traditional decor may not be to everyone's taste.
